I have a passion for coffee, I love all things stationery, designs & fashion, love a good Whiskey Sour, I love tech and trying new things, I'm always fascinated by psychology and human behaviours, I wanted to be a Fashion Designer when I was a kid, my favourite food is anything spicy, I'm learning RollerSkating, and I had my first beer when I was 3.

This is me in a nutshell
I was born in Vietnam but I made the move to New Zealand back in 2014 to pursue my studies,
and eventually settling here.
My journey with lettering began in 2016 as a hobby, but it wasn't until 2017 that I really dedicated myself to honing my craft. To my surprise, I found myself creating art and selling it at local markets while completing my final year of studies in Hospitality Management.
Written Studio was born during Covid 19 as I was navigating my way through the uncertain time. I was still working as a waitress at that time and I faced a lot of challenges since I've never started a business before.
In 2019, while selling Calligraphy Art Print & Cards, I was feeling:

- The fear of what-if it's not working out
- I don't know if it's gonna work
- I didn't see any sales for the first few months
- All my Local Market Sales were just break-even
- Each day left me feeling utterly drained.
- I hadn't accounted for the countless hours spent on packaging, responding to emails, providing quotes, and handling administrative tasks.
- I changed directions multiple times and each time, I made some financial losses.
- I was anxiously google searching “How to grow a business?”, " How to sell online product?", "How to get more customers".... you name it!
2019
BACK Story
By 2023
- I had my Design Business that generated average 5 projects per month
- I was able to charge $2000 for a project after only 1 year learning from scratch
- I worked with multiple Luxury Brands offering Luxury Calligraphy & Engraving
- I no longer trade time for money
- I've co-hosted a Networking Community of Women CEOs to connect with women all around the world.
- I have helped multiple small business owners with their Marketing and Social Media
- And while doing all this, I completed my Life Coaching Certification and I'm currently studying Psychology and Counselling.
2023
you see
I was a student, I didn't have a huge amount of money to invest.
I was bootstrapping the whole time
I had zero experience in business.
I also incurred losses along the way
I found it increasingly difficult to relate to my friends.
.... and a lot more stress and fears
BUT I kept going
"You only fail when you stop trying"
